Yesdog! Joins Downtown Jonesboro!
An old-school, Main Street favorite is returning to its roots under the guise of a new name!
What once was Godsey’s Grill, a long-time lunch and dinner staple in Downtown Jonesboro, is reopening its doors under a new name, Yesdog Grill! While “yesdog” seems to be a peculiar name for a restaurant, a closer look illustrates that “yesdog” is simply Godsey spelled backwards.
Lisa Godsey, the former owner of Godsey’s Grill, has been recently remodeling the building from the previous owners, getting it ready for their grand-opening. She hopes that Yesdog Grill will help contribute to progressive growth in Downtown Jonesboro, and hopes to open its doors early next year.
While Godsey is incredibly excited about the potential success of her new business venture, she still believes that Downtown Jonesboro is not only an incredible aspect of our community but also a prominent place to home new and budding local businesses.
