Rotary Club dedicates Centennial Plaza to Downtown Jonesboro

Jonesboro’s Rotary International club celebrated its 100 year anniversary through the dedication of their latest project, Centennial Plaza.

The Plaza was a three year project planned and developed in an effort to improve quality of life in Downtown Jonesboro. The space offers a beautiful outdoor venue for arts and crafts fairs, small concerts, and other after-hours events. Furthermore, its close proximity to The Forum makes it an ideal venue to celebrate the arts.

While the Rotary Club hopes the venue provides ample outlets for displaying creative expression, the space can also be used casually by visitors looking for a shaded, outdoor lunch spot, studying for local university and high school students, or to simply enjoy the fresh air. The space also boasts two new murals 

The funds allocated to the construction and development of the space were raised by The Rotary Club of Jonesboro to improve Downtown Jonesboro and provide an open space for everyone’s enjoyment.
